Indian tourists — 18 years and above

Carry ONE of these original photo ID documents:

• Voter ID card
• Driving licence
• Passport
• Government service ID card

Aadhaar card and PAN card are not accepted for the permit.

Indian tourists — below 18 years

• Aadhaar card
• If the child has no Aadhaar card, a birth certificate is accepted
• Children above 3 years need a permit
• Children below 3 years do not need a permit or documents

Photos

• One passport-size photo of every person who needs a permit

Foreign nationals

• Valid passport
• Valid visa
• Inner Line Permit, taken from the FRO office or at the Rangpo check post
• "Form C" from the hotel (we will give you this)
• Passport-size photos
